CO-FOUNDER/DIRECTOR DAViD

Originally from Largs, Scotland, David studied Musical Theatre at the Dance School of Scotland and Guildford School of Acting. After landing a role in London’s West End, he looked at his payslip and thought, “I need to start a business!” Spotting a gap in the market for board games that genuinely make people laugh, David co-created Game For Fame, which went on to become Amazon.co.uk’s #1 best-seller four Christmases in a row.

Even with a thriving acting career—starring in Jersey Boys, The Royal Shakespeare Company, and going viral with his sketch show Dave McG TV—David’s love for creative business led him to focus on McMiLLER full-time alongside his husband, Julian.

CO-FOUNDER/DIRECTOR JULiAN MiLLER

Originally from Castricum, The Netherlands, Julian moved to London to study musical theatre at the Royal Academy of Music. Having starred opposite Melissa McCarthy in the movie SPY, as well as Will Ferrell in the Netflix comedy EUROVISION, Julian enjoyed a successful comedy acting career.However, after being set up on a blind date with David, they discovered their love for working, living, and creating together, and McMiLLER was born. 

Together, Julian and David have enjoyed the success of best-selling, award-winning titles such as Santa VS Jesus, It’s Bananas, UpRoar and Fire In The Hole, and feel like they are just getting started.
CO-FOUNDER/DIRECTOR KATE BLADON

What's Next?

With the exception of It’s Bananas, all McMiLLER games are now 100% plastic-free, and David and Julian are dedicated to creating fun that’s also eco-friendly. They’re channeling their creativity into both gameplay and sustainable materials—keeping the laughs big and the environmental impact small.
